Graduate Student Association

The WGSS Graduate Student Association is the independent student group of the WGSS department and is run by WGSS Doctoral students. The association organizes events and activities based on the needs of the current cohort of students.

Since 2013, the WGSS Graduate Student Association at the University of Maryland has hosted "Interventions," a biennial graduate symposium featuring innovative, interdisciplinary research in the field. The next Interventions conference will be in the 25- 26 academic year.
