Spaces and Resources

The department has several facilities available for faculty, students and staff. We have also compiled a list of outside resources relevant to women, gender and sexuality studies.

Departmental Spaces

The Harriet Tubman Department of Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies is located in Susquehanna Hall.

The main office suite is located on the third floor in 3121. This is where the department staff are located as well as the copier and mailboxes.

The fourth floor houses the majority of the department's spaces:

The department lounge is available to faculty and graduate students at all times and can also be reserved for meetings and events. It offers casual seating and a wall mounted screen for film showings.

The departmental seminar room, this is used for meetings, graduate classes, and upper level undergraduate courses. It has a wall mounted monitor and whiteboard and seats 12-15.

The Indigenous Futures Lab run by Dr. Shelbi Nahwilet Meissner.

The department also manages a shared conference room which is used for meetings, classes, and events. This space has a projector and wall mounted screen. It can be reserved through the main office and can seat 18- 35 depending on the furniture arrangement.

The 4th floor also includes the WGSS graduate student offices, the Consortium on Race, Gender, and Ethnicity, and faculty offices.
