Gwen Warman
Academic Program Manager, The Harriet Tubman Department of Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies
Gwen Warman received her B.A. in Women's Studies from the University of Maryland College Park in 2004. After working in non-profit health care administration she received a dual master's in Gender and Cultural Studies, M.A. and Communication Management, M.S. from Simmons College in 2010.
Gwen joined the staff of the University of Maryland in 2012, serving as Graduate Coordinator in the Biological Sciences Graduate Program until joining the Harriet Tubman Department of Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies in 2019 as Undergraduate Advisor and Academic Coordinator. In 2022 Gwen became the Academic Program Manager and added coordination of the department's graduate programs to her portfolio. Gwen now supports all of the department's students and curricular activities, working closely with the directors of undergraduate and graduate studies.
