Kaiya Feiertag

Kaiya (she/her) is a senior Psychology and Criminology and Criminal Justice double major. Kaiya is part of the CARE to Stop Violence Program on campus as an Outreach Peer. She has participated in many musical ensembles including the Mighty Sound of Maryland Marching Band and University Band. Outside of class, she loves to paint, run, play ukulele, and go on walks with her friends. Additionally, she enjoys attending swing dancing lessons at UMD in her free time.

Kaiya is currently interning at the WGSS Advising Office through the Maryland Administrator Pathway (MAP) internship program. She is passionate about learning more about what it is like to work in higher education and at an advising office. Kaiya plans on continuing her education after she graduates by getting a masters degree in social work. Her goal is to work as a social worker in the courts system after receiving her masters degree. Then eventually working as an advisor for a University!
