Labor on Fire Graduate Symposium

As we reflect upon the United States of America’s 250th year, we invite graduate students to contend with the contemporary political landscape’s effect on our labor, as well as the labor histories that still smolder beneath our everyday lives. Our academic positions are increasingly precarious as universities move toward professionalization and weaken interdisciplinary fields. At this conference we will grapple with how we, as graduate students, navigate this precarity.

This is a graduate-led symposium open to current and recent graduate students. All presentations will take place in Susquehanna Hall, Room 3105. This symposium will feature graduate student presentations from:
