Each year, WGSS releases an annual newsletter to commemorate the past academic year and look to the future. The annual newsletter is a time honored WGSS tradition, tracing its roots to the Women's Studies at College Park Newsletter published monthly by the University of Maryland Special Collections and the Women's Studies Program starting in 1974. The newsletter documented events related to the program including lecture series, new programs, faculty updates, and even local happenings.
Over the years the newsletter has shifted, evolving to fill the needs of the growing program and adapting to new technology and methods of distribution. In its current form, our Annual Newsletter can be found on our website as a PDF file designed in Canva. You can access the newsletter below.
