Dr. Shelbi Meissner named National Science Foundation Ocean Champion

On September 27, 2023, Dr. Shelbi Nawhilet Meissner was named a NSF-KADF Ocean Decade Champion. This year, the National Science Foundation and Kaleta A. Doolin Foundation empowered 31 women scientsits associated with the NSF Coastlines and People program. Each champion receives funding through the program and becomes an active participant in the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development.
