Four ARHU students awarded 2012-2013 McNair Fellowships.
Congratulations to ARHU’s McNair Fellows!
The Graduate School’s new McNair Fellowships program will enhance opportunities for our campus doctoral programs to recruit and retain outstanding graduates of McNair undergraduate programs from institutions across the country. McNair Graduate Fellowships will provide entering graduate students with a first-year support package that includes a fellowship stipend of $18,000, plus tuition remission, fees and health insurance.
The program is designed to prepare students who are primarily from low-income, first generation and traditionally underrepresented groups to pursue doctoral studies. It offers services which include admissions test preparation, academic counseling, summer research internship, and faculty mentoring.
