Join the Indigenous Futures Lab in inaugurating the first annual Indigenous Knowledge Speakers Series

The Indigenous Futures Lab is excited to showcase a distinguished lineup of speakers in Spring 2024. Their expertise spans a range of critical topics: from Indigenizing social work and reclaiming traditional Indigenous governance to unpacking federal Indian law and exploring Indigenous feminisms. Join us in our inaugural event series as we hold space for Indigenous knowledges and honor our esteemed guests whose insights guide our collective journey toward Indigenous Futures.

This year's series will feature talks from Danielle Lucero (Pueblo of Isleta) on March 14 and Dr. Eva Jewell (Deshkan Ziibing [Chippewa of the Thames First Nation]) on April 18. Both talks will be followed by community crafting events in the Indigenous Futures Lab with our speakers.

Check out the event descriptions below for more information and to RSVP for the talk.
