University of Maryland Giving Day 2022

This giving day consider giving to Harriet Tubman Department of Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies to help support our students. Your gift allows undergraduate students to progress in their studies, tackling social issues, pursuing justice and equity, grappling with big questions, and imagining solutions and changes to the struggles of all.

You can give directly to the department on our University Giving Day page here. You can also see other ways to give on our departmental giving page here.

The department is able to fund generous awards and scholarships to our students who are in need of financial assistance. This includes our Rodler-Wood Endowed Scholarship for our LGBTQ+ students or students who show an interest in LGBTQ+ studies. This scholarship was established in 2004 by University of Maryland alum James Wood ’72 and his partner Peter Rodler and gives $1,000. You can give directly to the Rodler-Wood Endowed Scholarship Fund on its Giving Day page here
