"Remembering Sakia, Remembering Ourselves" to appear as epilogue in new anthology from Rutgers University Press

Dr. Zenzele Isoke's "Remembering Sakia, Remembering Ourselves" will be published as the epilogue of Queer Newark: Stories of Resistance, Love, and Community, a collection of essays and oral history excerpts charting the queer history of New Jersey's largest city. 

Queer Newark is inspired by the Queer Newark Oral History Project, a community-based and community-directed oral history project dedicated to preserving the history of LGBTQ people and communities in Newark, New Jersey.
